Well.

I've been watching and rating flash posts for a while now (both on this and my other account) and I've been wondering whether I should get flash and turn the table a bit. I've been drawing all of my life and I'm pretty good. I'm also quite tech-y. So I've been saving up my pennies and I'm gonna try to get Adobe Flash CS3. Can anyone recommend tablets or think pads or any other alternatives to make drawing a bit easier?
I met a guy the other day that has a Mac Pro (pretty similar to mine) a Wacom Cintiq tablet monitor and Adobe Flash CS3. I thought this was pretty cool because that was the desk layout I was going to have. I thought that until I heard the rest of the story; his Mac crashed and deleted all of his current work. I suspected the Cintiq was the issue and was wondering if the Bamboo/ Bamboo Fun and Intuos had the same issues. If any of you know I'd appreciate an answer before I spend $100-$2000 on a potential crashing piece of hardware.
